AJ | Adam Jansch
AJ | Adam Jansch (AJ) is the main website and set of minisites dedicated to the musical, artistic and technological practice of Adam Jansch. It presents Jansch's continued experimentations with the web medium, as initiated when his main site launched in 2005. The current sites making up AJ are:
- Main (https://adamjansch.co.uk): the main website of Adam Jansch, which is now at version 9. Powered by Grav, the site uses an item-linked update structure, linking news updates directly to specific articles. Previous versions of Main have been powered by MODX, Wordpress and home-brew PHP.
- Pact (https://pact.adamjansch.co.uk): the home of Adam Jansch's Pact documentation, also running on Grav, covering CreativePact and HackPact.
- PhD (http://phd.adamjansch.co.uk): a mini-site dedicated to Adam Jansch's now-completed PhD. The site is a simple 1-page design, built on a custom-developed PHP/YAML back-end.
Across his sites Adam Jansch has tended to adhere to same basic design principles: quadrilateral polygons and sectional colour-coding. All recent sites have been designed using HTML5, responsive CSS and a dusting of jQuery where necessary.
